Degree in biology from the University of Genoa and a PhD in marine biology at the University College Cork (UCC) in Ireland, Giuliano Greco has been passionate about communicating science in different contexts since his early years of university studies.
After two years as postdoc researcher at the Italian National Research Council (CNR) he decides to devote himself full time to communication: he is co-founder of Scientificast, the first Italian scientific podcast, and of the Pint of Science Italia association where he also holds the role of Communication Manager and takes part to several events related to scientific dissemination with different roles (Famelab International, Festival della Scienza in Genoa, the Internet Festival of Pisa, etc.).
Giuliano Greco is also author and speaker of scientific podcasts for various platforms including Audible.
He is currently in charge of the Italian Press Office of Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (the Italian Institute of Technology – IIT) where, among other things, he follows special projects in which science, technology and art come together to effectively convey scientific content to a wide audience.
